B. If you are unemployed and voluntary contributor, and you want to get the 70,000 PHP and more Maternity benefits you need to pay 3,0250 PHP for at least three monthly contributions within the 12-month period immediately preceding the semester of your childbirth or miscarriage.

The semester of contingency is composed of two quarters where your estimated due date is within.
There are four (4) quarters in a year:

1st quarter: January – March
2nd Quarter: April – June
3rd Quarter: July – September
4th Quarter: October – December

EXAMPLE
If you are pregnant on December 2020, your EDD is September 2021. You need to pay your contribution around April 2020 to March 2021. You need to pay 3,250 PHP for at least six months within that period.
Here is the sample computation:

3,250 (max. contribution) = 25,000 PHP monthly compensation
25,000 X 6 (months) = 150,000 PHP
25,000 / 180 = 833.33 PHP (daily allowance)
833.33 X 105 (days) = 87, 500 PHP

It depends on the computation on the qualifying period and the monthly contribution.
