The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) reminded the public that pregnant women, PWD, senior citizens, and Filipino’s most at risk to the virus can get free swab test for free.
Rey Baleña, spokesman of the PhilHealth said that the agency has “Covid-19 testing package” for those at risk and in need of a swab test l. The said patient who qualify for the free RT-PCR test will simply need to visit any of the 105 DOH accredited testing laboratories to avail of the benefits.
One of the accredited testing facility is the Pateros Covid–19 Swabbing Facility at Tesda Building, beside Sto. Rosario Silangan Barangay Hall in Municipality of Pateros. The exact address of the said facility is Tesda Pateros 33M, Lozada St. Sto. Rosario-Silangan.
It is open for everyone even if you are not a resident of Pateros. It is hundred percent free of charge. You only need to bring one valid id and a ballpen, don’t forget to bring patience as well. Online registration is not needed. They prioritize resident of Makati, Pateros, and Pasig, pregnant, PWD, senior citizens, and those with underlying conditions and comorbidity. At seven in the morning they will start to give you form and you will fill in your details, with one contact person. Exactly 9 am swab testing will start.
This swab test is also open for those who want to travel and work purposes. It takes 1-3 days before they send the result. There are also free swab testing in accredited Municipal office, Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Antipolo City Covid-19 Testing and Philippine General Hospital. Some facility don’t accept walk in, you need to register first online to get your appointment.
